The short version: You buy a licence to use ReceiptHaven on your own Macs, forever, with a year of updates included. You can't resell or redistribute it. It organizes your receipts — it isn't tax advice. If it doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days.
ReceiptHaven is developed and published by Bravo Consulting Limited, a company registered in New Zealand ("we", "us"). These terms form the agreement between you and us when you buy or use ReceiptHaven. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.
When you buy ReceiptHaven, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Macs that you own or control. If you buy a licence as a business, the licence belongs to that business and its people may use it for the business's work.
The licence has no expiry date. Once bought, the version you have keeps working — including after any update period ends.
You may not: resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app; share your licence key publicly; remove or alter licensing or attribution notices; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this restriction.
We keep all intellectual property rights in the app. You keep all rights to your own data — we never acquire any interest in your receipts, records, or reports.
Your purchase includes one year of updates from the date of purchase, which covers both fixes and new features released in that period. After the year ends, the app continues to work permanently with everything you have. Continuing to receive new features after that is optional and paid — we'll tell you the price at the time, and you're free to decline and keep using what you own.
We may also need to ship changes required by Apple or by changes in macOS. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep the app working on current macOS versions during your update period.
Purchases made through our website are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record and is the seller for that transaction. Paddle's own buyer terms apply alongside these terms, and Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and any sales tax, VAT, or GST due in your country.
If you buy through the Mac App Store, Apple is the seller and Apple's terms govern that purchase.
Prices are shown before you pay and may change over time; a change never affects a purchase you have already made. Launch or promotional pricing is available only while stated.
ReceiptHaven reads receipts, extracts details from them, organizes them, and produces summaries — all on your Mac, using the AI and text recognition built into macOS.
It is not tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Category suggestions, GST calculations, and Schedule C mappings are organizational aids to help you and your accountant work faster. They are not professional advice, we are not your accountant, and you remain responsible for what you file. Please have a qualified professional review anything that matters.
Automated extraction is not perfect. Crumpled paper, unusual layouts, and poor photos can produce mistakes, which is why the app flags low-confidence results for you to check. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it.
You're responsible for keeping your own backups of your receipts and data. ReceiptHaven stores data locally on your Mac; we hold no copy and cannot restore anything for you. Please use Time Machine or another backup method.
You agree to use the app lawfully, and not to use it to process material you have no right to process.
ReceiptHaven requires a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled. These requirements exist because the on-device AI depends on them. They're stated on our website and on the App Store listing before you buy, and a Mac that doesn't meet them can't run the app — please check before purchasing.
We provide ReceiptHaven with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" without further warranties, and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you guarantees that these terms do not exclude. If you are a consumer elsewhere, your local consumer law rights likewise stand. Where you acquire ReceiptHaven for business purposes in New Zealand, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

You can stop using ReceiptHaven at any time by deleting it. We may terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms — for example by redistributing the app — and we'll tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) do survive.
We may update these terms for future purchases and continued use — for instance if the law changes or we add a new offering. The current version always lives at this address with its date at the top. A change never alters the licence terms of a purchase you already made in a way that takes away what you paid for.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
